Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It provides a real-time overview of your entire operation — from inventory levels and production status to recent orders and financial performance.

Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is organized into several sections: KPI cards at the top for key metrics, an alerts panel for items that need your attention, quick action buttons for common tasks, and charts that visualize trends and performance data. The Dashboard updates in real time as your team makes changes across the platform.

  1. Click Dashboard in the sidebar menu or click the Krafte logo to navigate to the Dashboard at any time.
  2. Review the KPI cards at the top of the page for a snapshot of your current state.
  3. Check the alerts section for any items that require immediate attention (low stock, overdue orders, etc.).
  4. Use the quick action buttons to jump directly to common tasks without navigating through menus.
  5. Scroll down to view charts and graphs that show trends over time.

KPI Cards Explained

The KPI (Key Performance Indicator) cards at the top of the Dashboard give you an instant snapshot of your business. Each card displays a current value and, where applicable, a trend compared to the previous period.

  1. Total Products — shows the number of distinct finished products in your catalog. Click the card to navigate to the Products page.
  2. Total Materials — shows the number of distinct raw materials you are tracking. Click to navigate to the Materials page.
  3. Orders Value — displays the total value of recent orders in your base currency. This helps you gauge sales performance at a glance.
  4. Production Pipeline — shows the number of production batches or orders currently in progress. Click to navigate to the Production page.
  5. Each card may display a trend arrow (up or down) and a percentage change compared to the previous period to help you spot improvements or declines.

Alerts System

The alerts system proactively notifies you about issues that need attention. Alerts appear on the Dashboard and are color-coded by severity to help you prioritize your actions.

  1. Low Stock Alerts — triggered when a material or product's stock falls below the configured low stock limit. Shown in orange/yellow to indicate a warning.
  2. Overdue Orders — triggered when an order's expected delivery date has passed and the order is not yet completed or shipped. Shown in red to indicate urgency.
  3. Expiring Batches — if batch traceability is enabled, alerts appear for material or product batches approaching their expiration date. This helps you use materials before they expire (FIFO).
  4. Click any alert to navigate directly to the relevant item (material, order, or batch) so you can take action immediately.
  5. Alerts are automatically dismissed once the underlying issue is resolved (e.g., stock is replenished, order is shipped, batch is consumed).

Quick Action Buttons

Quick action buttons on the Dashboard let you perform the most common tasks with a single click, without navigating through sidebar menus. These shortcuts save time during your daily workflow.

  1. Click New Production Order to immediately open the production order creation form. Select a product, enter quantity, and submit.
  2. Click Add Material to open the material creation dialog. Fill in the material details and add it to your inventory.
  3. Click New Shipment to start creating a shipment. Select a client, add products, and record the outbound delivery.
  4. Click Production Planning to navigate to the planning page, where you can see stockout predictions and create production plans.
  5. The available quick action buttons may vary based on your user role. For example, a Warehouse user may not see production-related quick actions.

Charts and Graphs

The Dashboard includes interactive charts that help you visualize business performance over time. These charts update automatically as new data flows into the system.

  1. Revenue Chart — a line or bar chart showing order revenue over the selected time period (week, month, or quarter). Hover over data points to see exact values.
  2. Top Products — a ranked list or bar chart showing your best-selling products by quantity or revenue. Use this to identify your most important products.
  3. Recent Activity Feed — a chronological list of the latest actions across the platform (new orders, stock changes, completed production batches). Each entry shows the action type, entity name, timestamp, and the user who performed it.
  4. Some charts allow you to change the time range using a dropdown or date picker above the chart.
  5. Click on chart elements (bars, data points) to drill down into the underlying data for more details.
